Railway Signaling Technician | Signaltechniker (m/w/d)

Job Summary
This permanent role seeks a dedicated Railway Signaling Technician to ensure the safety and functionality of critical railway infrastructure components. Day-to-day responsibilities involve performing detailed adjustment and function checks on signal circuits, switch drives, and track clearance equipment. You will also be responsible for inspecting and maintaining switch lighting, main and auxiliary signal lighting, and parametrizing level crossing systems. A key part of the job is executing maintenance and repair work on control and safety technology components. The position requires a completed technical apprenticeship, such as an Electrician for Industrial Systems or Automation Technology, and a valid Class B driver's license. While prior professional experience in electrical engineering is beneficial, reliability and a strong sense of responsibility are essential. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training/apprenticeship as an Electrician for Industrial Systems, Electrician for Automation Technology, Electrical Installer, Industrial Electrician, or comparable technical qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in the electrical engineering field (advantageous)
- Desirable qualification as a Signal Worker
