Job Summary

This role is vital for establishing and optimizing metrological processes within the Quality Assurance department, focusing specifically on incoming goods inspection for a globally leading small arms manufacturer. The Quality Control Technician will be instrumental in creating and refining testing and measurement plans, developing CNC measuring programs, particularly using ZEISS Calypso, and operating advanced optical and tactile measuring devices. Daily responsibilities include performing detailed surface, roundness, and flatness checks, interpreting technical drawings with complex geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), and managing deviations by documenting findings and initiating follow-up actions. Candidates must possess a completed 3.5-year technical vocational training followed by a further qualification (e.g., certified Technician) and deep experience in industrial metrology, CAQ, and ERP systems (SAP preferred). This position offers the opportunity to actively shape Q-processes and provides a clear career path towards a deputy team leader role.
