Job Summary

As a Development Engineer at Heckler & Koch, you will take the technical lead on feasibility studies and pre-development projects specifically focused on sensor technologies and electronics. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve driving innovation by implementing new technologies and collaborating closely with external development partners, suppliers, and research institutes. You will provide critical technical support during the product development lifecycle and contribute technical expertise to tender preparations. Additionally, you will be responsible for conducting market studies and competitor analyses to ensure the company remains a global leader in the firearms industry. This role is ideal for a proactive engineer who enjoys bridging the gap between research and practical application within a highly specialized manufacturing environment. Required Skills

Education

University or Technical College degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • 2-3 years of professional experience in a research and development department of a manufacturing company
  • Professional experience in control engineering, electronics, and mechatronics
  • Experience in the defense technology industry is highly desirable
  • Experience in managing feasibility studies and pre-development projects
