Job Summary

This role involves supporting the 'FarmSPT' research project, which aims to establish a centralized master data management system to enhance interoperability and digital sovereignty within the agricultural sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for the technical design and development of robust data persistence systems, creating data interfaces for import/export, and performing complex data modeling of various agricultural data streams. A key part of the job involves deploying these systems in both cloud and on-premise environments, as well as preparing research results for publication in scientific articles, reports, and presentations. Key qualifications include a scientific university degree in Computer Science or a related field, coupled with extensive professional experience in developing software architectures and implementing sophisticated software solutions. Knowledge of modern concepts like data spaces, digital twins, data integration, and APIs is essential. This fixed-term position, based in Osnabrück with remote work flexibility, offers the unique opportunity to pursue a cooperative doctorate.
