Job Summary

The Process Analyst will join the newly established Service Center for Administrative Excellence (Operational Excellence Hub) within the 'Transformation Through Excellence in Applied Sciences' (TExAS) project. This role is crucial for actively shaping the digitalization and organization of Osnabrück University by implementing process optimization potentials across the university. Day-to-day tasks include collaboratively developing and implementing university-wide guidelines for the digitalization and automation of workflows, analyzing and modeling processes to identify improvement potentials, and developing a key performance indicator (KPI) system for process evaluation. The analyst will work closely with experts across all organizational areas, conducting workshops and training sessions on digital processes. The ideal candidate holds a scientific university degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, or Industrial Engineering with a focus on process management or digitalization, and possesses strong knowledge of current process management methods and tools, ideally complemented by Change Management experience.

Required Skills

Education

Completed scientific university degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, or comparable field, with a focus on Process Management, Organization, or Digitalization.

Experience

  • Professional experience in applying process management methods and tools effectively in practice
  • Experience in Change Management, preferably from projects with a direct implementation focus
  • Experience in analyzing and improving structures and processes
  • Ideally, experience working with and developing administrative organizations
