Job Summary
The Tax Management Specialist will join the Finance division of Osnabrück University, focusing on all tax-relevant processes and compliance matters. Day-to-day responsibilities include independently managing commercial business operations (BgA), preparing various tax returns (corporate, trade, VAT pre-registrations), and generating profit calculations (income surplus calculations and balance sheets). The role involves serving as the primary contact for tax authorities and consulting firms, processing Elster reports, and handling ongoing tax inquiries. Key qualifications include a completed commercial apprenticeship with a focus on taxation, practical experience in preparing tax declarations and profit calculations, and proficiency in MS Office. This position is attractive as it offers a high degree of autonomy in a crucial university finance function, with the potential for contract extension or permanent employment, and the flexibility of mobile work arrangements.
