Job Summary
This Senior Frontend Developer role involves joining the agile "WebZeit" team to focus on the development, optimization, and maintenance of new frontend components for the company's main website. A core responsibility is ensuring complete accessibility of all solutions, adhering strictly to WCAG AA and BFSG standards, which are integral, not optional. Day-to-day tasks include developing new components using technologies like TypeScript, Handlebars, and Alpine.js within Storybook, ensuring pixel-perfect implementation from Figma designs, and optimizing existing elements for accessibility. The role requires strong senior-level proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SCSS, mandatory experience with Playwright for automated testing, and Git for version control. Success in this position requires a high degree of self-organization, strong communication skills, and a commitment to high-quality, barrier-free design.
