Job Summary
As a Second Level Support Specialist based in Cologne, you will serve as a vital link between the IT department and both internal staff and field sales representatives. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve managing incidents and service requests through a ticketing system, providing on-site and remote technical assistance, and overseeing network and telecommunications tasks. You will be responsible for installing hardware and software, including routers, and managing user-specific system administration through Identity Access Management. This role is ideal for a service-oriented professional who enjoys direct user interaction and problem-solving in a dynamic environment. The position is particularly attractive due to its stable nature within a large insurance community, offering 13.5 monthly salaries per year, 30 days of vacation, and a strong focus on work-life balance through flexible hours and home office options.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in IT (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration or equivalent)
Experience
- Practical professional experience in providing on-site user support
- Experience working with SCCM, Intune, Azure, and Active Directory
- Proven experience in incident and service request management via ticketing systems
- Experience in network support and telecommunications infrastructure
Languages
Additional
- Valid driver's license and ownership of a private vehicle are mandatory requirements for on-site visits. Position is based in Cologne with regional travel.
