Job Summary
Join Daimler Buses GmbH in Neu-Ulm as a Hardware and Software Electronics Developer, focusing on body comfort systems for global bus platforms. You will be instrumental in the development and integration of innovative lighting, authorization, and on-board information systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing customer specifications, ensuring compliance with legal and technical requirements, creating system documentation, and managing development and series suppliers (e.g., monitoring maturity levels, costs, and deadlines). This role requires a technical degree, several years of experience in automotive E/E development, and strong knowledge of circuit diagrams. You will work within an interdisciplinary and international team, supporting Agile Release Trains and projects, and contributing significantly to both hardware (PCB, ECU) and software development, shaping the customer-experienceable design of Daimler buses.
Required Skills
Education
Completed technical degree (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or comparable field of study)
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in automotive electrical/electronic development
- Experience in body comfort systems (e.g., lighting, IBIS, authorization systems) is ideal
- Experience in relevant development and production processes (KSW and Series)
- Project experience is desirable
- Experience in hardware development (e.g., Printed Circuit Board and Control Unit Hardware)

- International travel to production and supplier locations is required in phases.
