Job Summary

The Research Associate will join the "International Chemicals Management" department to contribute to the "Circular Economy for Electrical and Electronic Equipment" project. This role involves interdisciplinary research to identify environmental priorities, evaluate existing measures for hazardous substances in electronics, and develop new instruments for their avoidance and removal. The successful candidate will analyze data on hazardous substances throughout the lifecycle of electronic waste, assess information needs for a circular economy, and propose policy mixes. This position is a maternity leave cover, with an aim for extension, and welcomes early-career professionals eager to engage with current policy processes and contribute to societal transformation towards sustainability.
