The Federal Ministry for Digital and State Modernization (BMDS) is seeking a highly accomplished Head of Division to lead the Project Management department within the 'Goal and Impact Control, Missions' staff unit. This is a pivotal leadership role focused on actively securing the performance of strategically relevant projects across the ministry and federal departments. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining standards, building a high-performing team, and providing operational support and coaching to project leads in complex initiatives. Key activities include developing and implementing a robust Project Management Framework, establishing KPIs for performance measurement, selecting and introducing PM tools, and fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. This position requires proven success in leading high-stakes projects, deep expertise in both classical and agile methodologies, and the ability to drive change and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders to ensure sustainable project success.
