Job Summary

The Federal Real Estate Agency (BImA) is seeking a dedicated Facility Operations Manager to oversee the technical operation and safety of properties belonging to Supreme Federal Authorities in Berlin. This role is critical for ensuring the smooth, compliant, and economical operation of complex technical building equipment, supporting the federal government's real estate objectives, and moving towards climate-neutral property management. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing technical service providers, planning and implementing maintenance measures, developing specifications for national and European tenders, and acting as the client representative for technical building management projects. The ideal candidate will have a technical degree or equivalent qualification in fields like Electrical Engineering or Technical Facility Management, coupled with professional experience in Technical Building Management and knowledge of relevant German regulations (e.g., BetrSichV, HOAI, VOB). This position requires strong communication skills, customer orientation, and the willingness to undergo an extended security clearance.
