Job Summary

This role involves ensuring the continuous operation and high security of IT-supported operational systems and networked/non-networked facilities at a critical nuclear waste storage site in Biblis, Germany. The technician will be responsible for the continuous inspection, maintenance, installation, and setup of these systems, including technical equipment like crane and PLC controls (e.g., Siemens Simatic S7). Key responsibilities include contributing to IT security implementation, managing access control, maintaining asset/inventory lists, and creating comprehensive system descriptions and documentation. The ideal candidate holds a qualification as an Electronics Technician for Industrial Engineering or Automation Technician, possesses solid professional experience with PLCs and operational IT applications, and is keen on continuous professional development.
