Job Summary

This System Engineer role focuses on ensuring the stable, secure, and efficient operation of SharePoint On-Premise platforms (2016/2019 or Subscription Edition) as a key digitalization partner for the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr). The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and operation of the SharePoint platform, including application and workflow support. Day-to-day tasks involve 2nd-Level support, rigorous incident, problem, and change management processes, and ensuring strict adherence to SLAs in ticket processing. Key requirements include five years of professional experience in application/solution operations, fundamental knowledge of ITIL processes, and proficiency in Windows Server environments and basic PowerShell/MSSQL. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to critical national security IT infrastructure across multiple German locations (Rheinbach, Nuremberg, Strausberg, Leipzig, Frankfurt, or Munich).
