Job Summary

The Postdoctoral Researcher will join the DKFZ Hector Cancer Institute, focusing on the Division of Cancer Survivorship & Psychological Resilience. The core mission is to utilize advanced quantitative methods to innovate modeling psychological resilience among cancer survivors and at-risk populations. Key responsibilities include designing and leading statistical modeling efforts, such as dynamic/latent-variable models, Bayesian hierarchical models, and causal inference. The role requires building robust, reproducible data handling and analysis workflows using R and/or Python, contributing to high-impact publications, and co-supervising students.
