Job Summary
This role involves ensuring the digital future capability of the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr) by contributing to the stable, secure, and efficient operation of one of Germany's largest and most complex IT infrastructures. As a System Engineer specializing in Active Directory (AD), you will be responsible for the administration and operation of AD environments for internal use and for customers (Bundeswehr and federal authorities). Day-to-day tasks include performing administrative duties, handling Second and Third Level Support for incident and problem resolution, and collaborating on the creation of detailed system concepts. Key qualifications include 3-5 years of professional experience in large IT environments, strong knowledge of AD and DNS, and familiarity with related services like ADFS, ADLDS, and DFS. The position offers meaningful work in national security, flexibility through mobile work options, and professional development opportunities, primarily based in Munich or Rheinbach, or alternative BWI locations nationwide.

Education
Completed vocational training in Informatics (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration) or a higher degree
Experience
