Job Summary

The City of Jena is seeking a Technical Product Owner to drive the strategy, development, and operation of their Microsoft 365 (M365) environment. This pivotal role involves establishing the information base for M365 analysis, leading the migration from existing systems, and managing the procurement of M365 subscriptions and related services. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and maintaining the overall M365 architecture (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Entra ID), ensuring smooth operations through monitoring and error analysis, and implementing robust security and compliance measures (DLP, Conditional Access). The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in IT, significant experience with M365 services, and the ability to manage projects, automate processes using PowerShell, and collaborate across teams to establish agile structures and high-quality service standards.
