Job Summary

This role involves supporting faculty and students in the conception, implementation, and development of digital and AI-supported teaching, learning, and examination scenarios at Bremerhaven University of Applied Sciences. Day-to-day tasks include the administration, maintenance, and quality assurance of the digital IT, media, and event infrastructure, along with providing first and second-level user support for media and computer technology in teaching and examinations. The specialist will also contribute to the implementation of multilingual teaching and examination formats utilizing Artificial Intelligence, and assist with training sessions on digitalization and AI for faculty and students. Key requirements include a relevant university degree (e.g., Computer Science, Media Technology), fundamental knowledge of IT and media technology, digital teaching/examinations, and experience in consulting and training. This position is crucial for advancing the university's digital transformation and enhancing the quality of maritime-focused education.

Experience

  • Professional experience in IT and media technology and digital teaching/examinations (e.g., in universities or adult education)
  • Experience in digital technologies and Artificial Intelligence
  • Experience in consulting and training
  • Multi-year professional experience, preferably in the higher education sector (Desirable)
  • Experience in the conception and implementation of digitalization projects in teaching (Desirable)
