Job Summary

This role involves serving as an Energy Manager within the Facility Management department, focusing on energy-related construction and optimization measures for buildings in close collaboration with the structural engineering and plant operation teams. Day-to-day tasks include the conceptual development, implementation, and control of measures to increase energy efficiency in building technology, including building automation systems. The manager will also be responsible for tendering, awarding, coordinating, and monitoring external planners, contractors, and service providers. A key financial responsibility is managing cost centers for energy bill verification and approval, documenting invoice data, and preparing cost and consumption forecasts. The ideal candidate holds a university degree, preferably in Environmental, Supply, Plant, or Energy Technology, and possesses professional experience in energy optimization for buildings and environmental technology, alongside good German and English skills.
