Job Summary

This role involves leading and managing complex civil engineering projects focused on municipal water management and infrastructure within the “Water Optimization South” team at Arcadis in Karlsruhe. Day-to-day responsibilities include handling all phases of project execution, from planning (according to HOAI phases 1-9) to local site supervision. The Project Engineer will also be responsible for the technical, disciplinary, and commercial steering of projects, preparing necessary permit documentation, developing proposals, and presenting solutions to clients. Key qualifications include a relevant degree in Civil Engineering or Municipal Water Management, coupled with proven experience in project steering, cost control, and contract management.
