Job Summary

This role seeks an Electrical Engineer, potentially at a Senior level, specializing in planning telecommunications systems within railway infrastructure projects for Deutsche Bahn AG. The successful candidate will independently manage and oversee planning projects, which includes performing specialized planning services for various railway and telecommunications projects, coordinating with all participating trades, and preparing cost estimations and technical concepts. A key aspect is identifying contractually owed services versus additional services (change requests). The position requires a degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on telecommunications, professional experience in infrastructure planning (especially railway), and familiarity with relevant planning tools like AutoCAD and BIM concepts. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Communications or Telecommunications Technology, or a comparable field of study

Experience

  • Professional experience in planning (railway) infrastructure projects
  • Experience in planning construction phases
  • Experience in creating service specifications
  • Knowledge of railway operations and technology
  • Knowledge of HOAI (Fee Structure for Architects and Engineers), VOB (Contracting Rules for the Award of Public Works), and current legal regulations
