Job Summary

This critical role involves ensuring the highest safety standards are maintained at a radioactive waste interim storage facility in Lingen. The Master Craftsman or Technician will primarily oversee the operational security services (OSD), ensuring contractual compliance and adherence to site regulations. Key responsibilities include monitoring operations, resolving technical and operational disruptions in safety and security systems, and acting as a competent person according to Fire Service Regulation 500. This position requires coordinating external emergency services (fire, rescue) during alarms, initiating first aid measures, and acquiring specialized expertise in interim storage guidelines. Candidates should possess a technical qualification (Master Craftsman/Technician) in fields like electrical engineering, mechatronics, or IT/communications, coupled with knowledge of fire, radiation, and occupational safety.
