Job Summary

This role involves driving the conception, specification, and continuous development of next-generation airborne radio devices. The professional will be heavily involved in the planning, execution, and documentation of qualification, integration, and system tests, including crucial EMC and environmental testing. A key part of the job is developing and maintaining test environments, automating test procedures, and troubleshooting technical issues in close collaboration with hardware, software, and system architects. Furthermore, the role requires leading subprojects, managing quality, timeline, and budget, and providing technical support to customers, necessitating strong communication skills and occasional business travel. Ideal candidates possess a degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, or Computer Science, coupled with experience in avionics or radio technology development and knowledge of civil and military standards like RTCA/DO-160 and MIL-STD-461/810.
