Job Summary

This role as an Electrical Engineer specializing in Plant and Energy Systems involves ensuring the reliable operation and continuous advancement of electrical infrastructure within the city's Wastewater Treatment Plant. Day-to-day tasks include comprehensive project management, planning, and leading EMSR (Electrical, Measurement, Control, and Regulation) and energy technology projects across all HOAI phases, from initial concept to successful commissioning. A key focus is supporting the plant's climate goals through sustainable energy and process development, including implementing innovative approaches for energy efficiency and self-generation. You will actively drive the digital transformation of the infrastructure, utilizing smart data management systems to optimize processes and ensure high efficiency and reliability. The ideal candidate holds a university degree in Electrical Engineering (Electrical Power Engineering specialization) and brings extensive professional experience in planning, constructing, and operating complex electrotechnical plants, coupled with knowledge of relevant German construction and service regulations (VOB, VOL, HOAI).
