Job Summary

This role seeks a Project Engineer specializing in structural design within constructive hydraulic engineering to join the Climate Adaptation team in Hamburg, Hannover, or Dresden. The successful candidate will be instrumental in managing and executing complex regional and supra-regional projects focused on water management and civil engineering, including flood protection, locks, weirs, dams, retention basins, waterway development, and harbor construction. Key responsibilities involve contributing to the dimensioning and structural design across all phases, from foundational concept creation through to detailed execution planning. The role requires ensuring projects are delivered on time, within quality standards, and according to client specifications, while coordinating effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Ideal candidates possess a degree in Civil Engineering, relevant initial experience in water or constructive civil engineering projects, and strong communication skills necessary for client interaction and team collaboration.
