Job Summary

This role seeks a dedicated (Senior) Planning Engineer specializing in Signaling and Train Control Technology (LST) to join Arcadis Mobility Germany. The position involves the development of highly technical project and execution documents for signaling systems, including the modernization or conversion of signal systems across various interlocking technologies. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning, monitoring, and quality control of sub-contracted services, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, laws, and DB standards, and managing coordination with project teams, clients, and supervisory authorities (EBA). A key aspect is identifying contractually required services and differentiating them from additional services (change orders). The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or Automation Technology, ideally with a focus on LST, and possesses professional experience in planning railway infrastructure projects, utilizing tools like AutoCAD and ProSig, and demonstrating strong knowledge of LST, HOAI, and VOB regulations.
