Job Summary

The Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) is seeking a dedicated Engineer to manage the requirements and demands for structural and technical IT infrastructures within their property management department in Bonn. This role is crucial for ensuring that the BSI's complex building and refurbishment projects meet the precise needs of users, particularly concerning Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and Classified Information Technology (VS-IT) systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include gathering, prioritizing, and aligning user requirements with overarching standards (e.g., sustainability, fire protection, accessibility, and information security). You will act as the primary user representative throughout all project phases—from planning and procurement to execution and handover—including the technical review of change requests and management of warranty claims. To succeed, you must possess a technical university degree in a relevant field (such as Electrical Engineering or IT) and at least three years of professional experience in large-scale IT infrastructure projects related to construction.
