Job Summary

This role is situated within the Federal Office of Civil Protection and Disaster Assistance (BBK) in Bonn, specifically within the Research Coordination unit. As a Financial Controller and Grants Management Officer, you will be responsible for the fundamental coordination of all grant procedures, serving as a technical point of contact for colleagues and conducting secondary reviews of grant notices. Your day-to-day tasks involve managing the research budget, performing financial controlling for the 'Policy' department, and coordinating with high-level stakeholders including the Ministry of the Interior. You will also handle your own portfolio of grant cases from issuance to potential revocation.
