Job Summary

The Accounting Manager will be responsible for independently and reliably managing all business transactions, focusing on maintaining a clear overview of company finances. A key part of the mission involves preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for Local Business Companies (LBCs) and supporting the Head of Accounting in building out the department and establishing unified accounting guidelines. This role requires strong balancing and tax knowledge, decision-making skills, and the ability to manage cash flow and continuously improve processes. You will collaborate closely with LBC Managing Directors, tax advisors, lawyers, and local accountants, and actively participate in reporting to the UK-based parent company. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented, adaptable professional with a structured, hands-on approach who wants to contribute to a stable, growing international group focused on the energy transition and skilled trades.

Required Skills

Education

Degree in Business Administration or Economics (ideally Certified Tax Consultant or Auditor)

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting
  • Familiarity with financial statements and ideally consolidation
  • Professional experience in auditing (optimally)
