Job Summary
The Grant Management Specialist will join the Controlling and Finance division to independently manage third-party funded projects for the Medical Faculty. Day-to-day responsibilities involve the administrative and financial oversight of grants, including processing funding applications, providing service-oriented consultation to recipients, and financially managing projects in strict compliance with donor guidelines and legal regulations (state and tax law). Key qualifications include a degree in economics or comparable commercial training with relevant professional experience, excellent MS Office skills, and practical knowledge of business management systems, ideally SAP S4/HANA modules (CO, FI, SD, HCM). Required Skills
Education
Successful completion of a degree in Economics (B. Sc.) or a comparable commercial apprenticeship/training
Experience
- Professional experience in public administration (ideally)
- Practical experience with a business management system
- Relevant professional experience accompanying commercial training
- Practical experience in quality management
- Relevant experience in electronic records management using a Document Management System
