Job Summary
The IT Service Desk Specialist will join the Center for Digitization and Information Technology at the University Hospital Freiburg, focusing on providing essential centralized IT services. This role is crucial as a central point of contact for all IT inquiries within the hospital, offering First-Level Support across a diverse IT landscape. Day-to-day tasks involve user administration, providing technical assistance via phone and remote access, and collaborating closely with IT administrators and key users. A key responsibility includes coordinating efforts between specialized IT departments and the disaster control center during central IT disruptions. The ideal candidate should have completed vocational training, such as an IT Specialist, or possess relevant professional experience, coupled with strong foundational knowledge in IT support and troubleshooting, particularly within Microsoft operating systems.
