Job Summary

This full-time, permanent position as a Process Navigator within the Health Department of Spree-Neiße District focuses on providing independent support and guidance to young people with (imminent) disabilities and their guardians. Key responsibilities include assessing needs, offering legal and procedural advice on integration assistance benefits, and providing information on available services and support networks. The role involves building and maintaining a network of contacts, assisting with application processes, accompanying individuals to appointments, and clarifying decisions. Additionally, the Process Navigator will contribute to public relations and support the structural integration of youth disability services into the Children, Youth, and Family Department. This involves participating in relevant committees, assisting with inter-departmental cooperation, and supporting the implementation of inclusive care plans, offering a secure public sector role in a supportive team environment.

Required Skills

Education

• University degree (Diplom (FH), Bachelor) in Public Administration or Business Administration, OR • University degree (Diplom FH, Bachelor of Arts) in Social Pedagogy or Social Work with state recognition, OR • Certified Administrative Specialist (Angestelltenlehrgang II) from a recognized institute (Niederlausitzer Studieninstitut, Brandenburger Kommunalakademie, or Landesakademie für öffentliche Verwaltung Brandenburg)

Experience

  • Experience in navigating and advising on social welfare benefits and procedures
