Job Summary

The Spree-Neiße district administration is seeking three dedicated Digitalization Officers to drive the successful implementation of digital transformation projects within the public sector. This role involves acting as the primary departmental contact to support and advance digitalization initiatives, including the rollout of digital administrative processes like e-invoicing, digital files, and e-procurement. Key responsibilities include comprehensive project documentation, continuous controlling, and regular progress reporting. Furthermore, the officer will be crucial in identifying and securing funding opportunities through grant acquisition and application processes at municipal, state, and federal levels. Success requires strong project management, change management skills, and the ability to train staff and promote the acceptance of new digital tools across various departments, ensuring the long-term viability and modernization of the district administration.

Required Skills

Education

Accredited university degree (Diploma (FH), Bachelor) in Economics, Business Informatics, Project Management, or successful completion as a Business Administrator (VWA), Administrative Business Administrator (VWA), or Certified Business Administrator (IHK/HWK)

Experience

  • Experience in accompanying digitalization projects, ideally in the public sector
  • Experience in project management and change management
  • Experience in grant acquisition and application
