Job Summary

The Service Center for Rural Development and Agricultural Funding (SLA) is seeking two GIS Developers to join their Department D, which focuses on developing diverse, partially geo-based, software products. In this role, you will be crucial in realizing and continuously developing a cross-state application for the end-to-end processing of Rural Land Consolidation procedures under the Land Consolidation Act. Day-to-day tasks include programming, creating automated tests, refactoring, documentation, and participating in federal technical working groups and requirements analysis. The ideal candidate possesses a Bachelor's degree in (Geo-, Administrative, Business) Informatics or a related IT field, coupled with very strong programming skills in GIS system development. Proficiency in Python, PostgreSQL, and QGIS is required, along with excellent German language skills (C1 level).
