Job Summary

The Landkreis Leer is seeking two Service Desk Employees / 1st Level Supporters to join the Central Administration Office. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for IT issues, managing and processing incident reports and service requests received via phone, email, or in person. Key responsibilities include analyzing, prioritizing, and documenting all incidents and requests within the ITSM system, providing remote support to users, and actively contributing to improving service quality and user satisfaction. A strong background in IT administration, particularly with Microsoft client operating systems and the Office Suite, is required. Experience in a VDI environment, such as Citrix, and knowledge of ITIL processes are essential. This position requires high customer orientation, empathetic communication, strong engagement, and team spirit to resolve complex IT issues. The role is initially limited to two years but offers flexible working hours and mobile work options.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist (System Integration, Data and Process Analysis, or Digital Networking), IT System Management Clerk, Digitalization Management Clerk, or IT System Electronics Technician

Experience

  • Professional experience in administering client operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience in a VDI-dominated IT environment (e.g., Citrix)
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes
