This role is crucial for advancing translational research and the digitalization of oncological care within the Comprehensive Cancer Center (G-CCC) in Göttingen. The specialist will primarily focus on developing and optimizing digital support systems, particularly within the IMAGINE Niedersachsen project, aimed at harmonizing cross-sectoral cancer care workflows to ensure standardized, high-quality patient treatment. Day-to-day tasks involve extending the tumor documentation system via plugin development, creating data exchange interfaces between various clinical systems, and implementing data processing tools and scripts. Key qualifications include a university degree in Informatics, Bioinformatics, or a related field, strong programming skills (Python, Java, SQL), and experience operating applications within complex infrastructure environments like Docker and Linux.
