Job Summary

This full-time role in Idar-Oberstein offers a motivated Biological Laboratory Technician the opportunity to contribute significantly to the development of personalized medicine and vaccines within the pharmaceutical industry. Day-to-day responsibilities involve testing vaccines and gene therapeutics under strict GMP regulations for clinical trials or approved drugs. Key analytical methods utilized include Flow Cytometry, ELISA, and PCR. The specialist will also be involved in establishing new methods, facilitating technology transfer from R&D environments into GMP, and maintaining the regulated quality environment through the creation and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Candidates must possess a vocational qualification (BTA, MTA, CTA, PTA, etc.) or a Bachelor's degree in Natural Sciences, coupled with strong organizational skills, accuracy, and fluent German proficiency. Experience in GMP and Flow Cytometry is highly beneficial for success in this critical quality control position.
