Job Summary

This role involves overseeing the calibration of measurement points within a pharmaceutical production environment in Mainz. You will be responsible for the risk-based assessment and identification of measurement locations, defining calibration specifications, and ensuring all activities comply with strict GxP and GMP regulations. Your day-to-day will include coordinating with internal departments and external suppliers to gather equipment data, managing documentation within digital systems, and supervising the operational execution of calibrations. A significant part of the role involves handling engineering change management, deviations, and CAPAs. This position is ideal for technical professionals who enjoy a mix of analytical planning and hands-on organizational oversight. The role offers a competitive salary range of €70,000 - €80,000, a flexible hybrid work model with two days of home office per week, and a clear path toward permanent employment within the pharmaceutical industry.

Required Skills

Education

Degree in Engineering (e.g., Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology) or a relevant technical vocational qualification.

Experience

  • Extensive professional experience in the field of calibration, preferably within GMP-regulated environments or ISO 13485 standards
  • Proven experience in the biotechnological or pharmaceutical industry regarding GxP compliance
  • Experience in risk-based assessment of measurement points and defining technical specifications
  • Experience in coordinating internal and external stakeholders for technical service execution

Additional
