Job Summary

This role offers the opportunity to actively shape the energy transition at 50Hertz by merging technical expertise with strategic responsibility for electrical grid safety and standards. The primary focus is ensuring a stable and future-proof energy world by translating DIN and VDE regulations, alongside lessons learned, into 50Hertz's internal standards and guidelines. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading the development and maintenance of the Grid Control and Grid Operations Guideline (NNÜ), representing the company in critical standardization bodies (e.g., DKE), and supporting medium-term shutdown planning. A significant component of the job involves conceptualizing and conducting training programs for electrical professionals and plant managers. Candidates must hold a degree in Electrical or Energy Engineering and possess several years of professional experience in grid operations, coupled with deep knowledge of DIN/VDE norms and operational safety processes. Strong communication skills in both German (C1/Fluent) and English (B2/Intermediate) are essential for success in this influential role.
