Job Summary

This role offers comprehensive, funded training to become a qualified German and European Patent Attorney within one of Europe's most renowned Intellectual Property firms based in Munich. The successful candidate, ideally holding a very good university degree or PhD in Physics, will gain extensive insight into all facets of industrial property rights. Core responsibilities include supporting experienced Patent Attorneys in client consultations, drafting new patent applications in collaboration with inventors, and preparing detailed statements regarding the prospects of patent success based on search and examination reports. You will also actively participate in oral hearings and assist with complex opposition and appeal proceedings before the German Patent and Trademark Office (DPMA) and the European Patent Office (EPO). Candidates must possess strong analytical capabilities, abstract reasoning, and argumentation skills, coupled with initial professional experience in a technical field. Required Skills

Education

Very good university degree (Master's or equivalent) in Physics. PhD in Physics is advantageous.
