Job Summary

This position is for an IT Service Technician based in Ingolstadt, providing essential on-site client support for a major automotive manufacturer. The core responsibilities involve managing and maintaining Windows workstations, laptops, and mobile devices, including troubleshooting MS Office software issues. Day-to-day tasks include processing various support tickets (Break/Fix, IMAC - Installs, Moves, Adds, Changes, and Hardware & Equipment requests), ensuring strict adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and potentially handling technical escalations. The technician will also provide remote support to other customer locations across Germany. Candidates must possess a relevant completed IT qualification, such as an IT Specialist for System Integration, coupled with initial professional experience supporting modern client hardware and Windows operating systems. This is an attractive opportunity for a long-term, full-time position, initially through temporary employment with a strong option for permanent employment directly with the client.
