Job Summary

This role involves serving as an Electrical Engineer within the Federal Office for Building and Regional Planning (BBR) in Berlin, focusing on project management for complex federal construction projects, including ministries, security facilities, and military institutions. Key responsibilities include providing technical support for comprehensive electrical systems, covering communication, MSR (Measurement, Control, Regulation), media, and IT technology across all phases of the HOAI (Fee Structure for Architects and Engineers). The engineer will manage coordination with building users, contractors, and regulatory bodies, prepare contract documents, review cost estimates, and ensure strict quality, cost, and schedule control. Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Communications Technology and possess significant practical experience with demanding construction projects and German construction law (HOAI, VOB). This position offers the opportunity to manage high-profile public sector projects from conception through handover.

Required Skills

Experience

  • Practical professional experience in the planning or execution of technically demanding construction projects and complex building equipment
  • Experience in supporting/accompanying construction projects for the public sector
