Job Summary
This role seeks a Project Finance Administrative Specialist to manage the financial lifecycle of research projects within Germany's scientific self-governance organization in Bonn. Key responsibilities include performing financial accounting, controlling fund utilization, and managing all financial data related to grants and investments. The specialist will review decision documents and grant letters for financial correctness, process fund requests and payments, and provide crucial consultation to funded universities regarding the formal and financial execution of funding programs. Candidates must possess a completed administrative or commercial vocational qualification and substantial professional experience, particularly in budgeting, treasury, and accounting systems. Proficiency in IT finance applications, including Excel and administrative management software, is essential. This is a two-year fixed-term position offering flexible working hours and mobile work options.
