Job Summary

This role is for an engaged IT Technician specializing in hardware support and maintenance within a technically demanding IT service environment. Day-to-day responsibilities include executing hardware break/fix tasks for standard and specialized equipment, analyzing and resolving both hardware and software issues, and performing proactive maintenance such as patching and antivirus updates. The technician will also manage IMAC/D requests (Installs, Moves, Adds, Changes, Decommissions), handle documentation, provide technical consulting, and coordinate troubleshooting with manufacturers. Key qualifications include a completed relevant technical education (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration or IT Systems Electronics Technician), strong hardware knowledge, basic networking skills for hands-on support, and proficiency in both German (Fluent/C1) and English (Intermediate/B1).
