Job Summary

This critical role focuses on steering the complex digitalization initiatives for regional medical facilities within the German Armed Forces' Health Care Provision (GesVersBw). The Lead Business Expert will be responsible for the conceptual design and management of measures concerning IT infrastructure and applications. Key daily activities include analyzing the status quo of IT equipment, deriving and managing necessary enablement measures, consulting and coordinating involved implementation projects, and continuously aligning with and representing the project sponsor in committees. Success requires a strong academic background combined with at least eight years of experience managing complex IT programs, realization, and transition across diverse locations with heterogeneous requirements. This position is vital for modernizing the medical support system of the Bundeswehr, demanding exceptional analytical skills, goal orientation, and proven long-term expertise in high-stakes stakeholder communication and conflict resolution.
