Job Summary
As a Senior System Engineer for Mobile Device Management, you will join the primary digitalization partner for the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr). You will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Mobile Device Management systems, specifically utilizing Omnissa Workspace ONE. Your daily activities will include administering mobile devices across various security domains, performing problem analysis, and providing second-level support to users and partners. This role is critical for ensuring the secure and efficient operation of highly mobile end-user devices within one of Germany's largest and most complex IT infrastructures. The position is ideal for a proactive IT specialist who enjoys technical troubleshooting and creating end-user documentation. Required Skills
Education
Successfully completed university degree with a focus on IT or a comparable vocational training qualification.
Experience
- At least 5 years of professional experience in network technology, telecommunications, or application development
- Expert knowledge in the configuration of MDM systems
- Professional experience in IT security
- Experience in problem analysis and troubleshooting in a support capacity
Languages
Additional
- ITIL certification is desirable. The role is available at multiple locations including Berlin, Leipzig, Meckenheim, Munich, Rostock, or nationwide at BWI locations. Requires the ability to work in various security domains.
