Job Summary
This role involves working as a Biological-Technical Assistant or Medical Technologist within an accredited genetic diagnostics laboratory, primarily focusing on modern sequencing and DNA analysis techniques. Day-to-day tasks include applying Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS), establishing new lab techniques, independently analyzing and documenting results, and operating sophisticated laboratory equipment. The position requires strong organizational skills, proficiency with molecular genetic techniques, and experience using common IT systems. You will work in a multidisciplinary team environment, bridging the gap between scientific research and clinical application, and will be responsible for general lab organization, documentation, and close collaboration with scientists and physicians. This full-time, permanent position offers a varied workplace within a well-equipped molecular genetics lab, structured working hours, and compensation based on the TV-L collective agreement.
