Job Summary

This role invites a skilled Medical Technologist (MT/MTA) or Biological-Technical Assistant (BTA) to join the Gerhard-Domagk Institute for Pathology, focusing on diverse diagnostic procedures. The core responsibilities involve the comprehensive processing of incoming samples (biopsies, surgical material, blood), including preparing paraffin blocks, creating histological sections, and performing specialized histological and immunohistochemical staining using modern platforms. You will also assist with sample cutting, manage laboratory documentation and ordering, and actively support the implementation of modern diagnostic techniques, such as digitalization, and contribute to scientific studies. The ideal candidate possesses completed vocational training in the required fields, ideally with prior experience in Histology, and demonstrates a reliable, careful, and independent work ethic.
