Job Summary

This position calls for a highly skilled Postdoctoral Researcher or Biologist to significantly contribute to the structural and methodological establishment of the new Core Unit for Stem Cell Technology at the University Hospital Münster. The role involves independent scientific work, primarily focusing on generating, characterizing, and advancing human iPSC-based organoid and cell culture models. Day-to-day tasks include planning and executing complex experimental work, such as differentiation protocols, molecular biology analyses, and advanced imaging. The ideal candidate will possess a completed doctoral degree in life sciences (e.g., Biology, Biochemistry) and sound practical experience in stem cell culture and organoid technologies. Experience

  • Completed doctoral degree (PhD or equivalent) in life sciences (Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or related discipline)
  • Sound experience in stem cell culture (iPSCs) and/or organoid technologies
  • Routine experience in cell biological and molecular biological methods
  • Interest in the methodological advancement of innovative 3D models
  • Experience in establishing or organizing scientific laboratory units (advantageous)
