Job Summary

This role is ideal for an experienced IT professional specializing in infrastructure and hardware support, working for a leading international IT service provider. The primary responsibilities include the assembly and disassembly of racks, and the installation and removal of hardware components such as servers, storage, and switches. Day-to-day tasks involve meticulous cabling and de-cabling of power (copper) and network lines (copper/fiber optic) according to documentation. A critical function is performing troubleshooting at the optical and physical level for servers and cabling issues. Candidates must be prepared to work in a 3-shift system and possess solid hardware and networking knowledge, specifically with fiber optic (LWL) and copper cables. Success in this role requires precise, timely documentation of all work in customer systems, often in English, coupled with strong team skills and a high willingness to learn.
